OKTOBERFEST DENVER ANNOUNCES FINAL “FEST” IN 2009
A recent change to the Oktoberfest Denver plans for 2009 included, “Danke schön!,” a German thank you to attendees, volunteers and sponsors over the last 40 years, as the festival organizer announced that 2009 marked the final Oktoberfest celebration. The 40th anniversary of Oktoberfest was the end of Larimer Associates’ production of the annual festival and served as a thank you to all that have attended over the years. Thank you for joining us by hoisting a stein and toasting its great legacy initiated 40 years ago.
